i opened the image and immediately shuddered.. chills me to the bone and makes me want to rush headlong to the fierce icy sunshine that may hold some warmth...

the subject matter is just perfect and the chaos of the branches draped in the tranquility of the snow is of great, great effect to me :nod:

STUNNING. and this time it opened! -in a little under three and a half minutes! would could have been tempted to crouch lower and get the shadows deeper but the entanglement of snow drenched branches are a really good "intense" effect here... they domintate the scene withvigour, showing the relentless power that winter can bring... superb :+fav:

absoloutly smothered with snow, i love it, the way it is so heavy and how it seems blue, although still white in a way. Excelent job Alex! :+fav:
