The guitar, it makes the sounds
Of rock n' roll that can't be found
Anywhere else but in the hands
Of some who really understands
The fingers they may start to bleed
When to the pain he doesn't heed
And so the blisters, filled with pus
Explode onto the rest of us
The pain that he endured so long
Was wasted just to play a song
About a girl he wanted bad
Who dumped him, what a shame, so sad
We get our pleasure from his pain
So all his pleas, they are in vain
