I love the simplicity and beauty of it.....on one hand, it looks so ordinary (in a good way), just another winter or spring day on the river......but at the same time, it is this simplicity that makes it wonderfully refreshing and new. I especially like the combination of violet and blue colors of the sky and its reflection on the water, and the way it contrasts with the darkness of the trees.....it appears to make that feeling of freshness and renewal so much stronger. I just feel as if I were standing there myself, feeling the smell of the water and the cool wind on my face. Lovely.
