those branches remind me of some andy goldsworthy pieces, with all the branches, stuck together on a wall, or in between a tree, and stuff like snow packed in between them, all those tiny branches look like a shattered piece of glass, or a network of spiderwebs. absolutely awesome

Umm... if the truth is out there, I don't think I want to know what it is. It's too dark and scary out there, but the picture is BEAUTIFUL ! :D

This is so...eerie!! Wonderfully moody...I keep expecting to see a ufo, or a ghost or something of the sort! Did you take that line (the title) from Steven King's 'Rose Red'?? Perfect title in any case!!

While it must be quite a feeling to stand in those quiet shadows, I think it's the detail of all the treebranches that I enjoy the most, how they obscure the sky...

I've got the X-Files theme in my head now, but the shot is really good. Also, it's the retro-ish remix that I have in my head, so it's all good. Wakachicka, you know?

Seriously though, I like this a lot. All those spiderwebbing branches.

Wow! Such detail, makes me yearn for the REAL full-size version. Forest shots can seem so busy from all the branches and foliage... and you've made it seem so simple, with the branches above echoing the sparkle of snow below.

 I love how detailed this is, that dense network of branches blocking out the light.

The very bright area makes this, I think. It makes the viewer realise how much light is blocked out.
